Luke - Resident Cat & Pet Liaison

Luke was raised in Tewksbury; he came to us in 2008 and has been here ever since. Born in 2007, Luke is our youngest employee. Initially, Luke liked to work behind the scenes, but now he can often be seen lounging on a waiting room chair, walking on the heater or just wandering around. Luke’s interests are definitely other cats he loves any cat that comes in even the ones that hiss at him, he likes to try and make them feel comfortable because he knows its no fun being cooped up in a cage and dragged to the vet. He tolerates dogs better than most cats, but he’s certainly doesn’t want to be known as a dog lover. Don’t be alarmed if Luke acts a little slower than a normal cat, (we joke he’s half opossum) we feel he had neurological problem causing him not to develop the skills a normal cat has but it’s never held him back from getting into mischief. He enjoys being involved with the hospital. Luke spends his free time eating and lounging.
